Boomer Skills Millenials Just Won’t Use

It’s widely acknowledged that Boomers came of age in an era vastly distinct from today. For those in their fifties, technology was virtually non-existent during their formative years, and the only “streaming” they were familiar with was the elegant soda maker their parents reserved for special occasions like Christmas. Boomers absorbed knowledge and skills that millennials find primarily unnecessary. Courses on typing, secretarial training, managing a checkbook, and deciphering a map – all talents that Boomers dedicated their youthful years to perfecting – have now mainly become outdated, and this is just scratching the surface of the vast changes in our technological landscape.
