Foods That Should Never Be Refrigerated

Don’t Put Honey In The Fridge

Although it may appear self-evident, avoiding storing honey in the refrigerator is essential. The cold temperature will cause the honey to solidify and form crystals, which is undesirable. If your honey has crystallized, it can be easily remedied by submerging the entire jar in a warm water bath to dissolve the crystals. Unlike other food items, honey is a natural preservative; therefore, it does not require refrigeration or freezing to maintain its freshness for an extended period. Hence, storing honey at room temperature in a dry and cool place is recommended to ensure longevity.
