Foods That Should Never Be Refrigerated

Keep Flour Out Of The Fridge

To the best of our knowledge, we have yet to encounter individuals who refrigerate their wheat flour, and we find it highly unlikely that such individuals exist. In any case, it is essential to note that there is absolutely no benefit to storing flour in the fridge. Instead, flour should be kept in a dry location and stored in a sealed container to prevent moisture and pests from affecting its quality. Refrigerating flour will not prolong its shelf life or enhance its flavor. Further, storing flour in the fridge will take up space that could be used for other perishables. Therefore, it is recommended that flour be stored in a cool, dry area outside of the refrigerator.
