Thrills And Chills For October On Netflix

Netflix is not holding back this season when it comes to thrill and chills.  The online streaming service is offering a wide selection of films to choose from this spooky Halloween season.  Last week, the service announced that it plans to be releasing a different, brand new horror, or horror-adjacent, film each week in October leading up to Halloween.

Those viewers who are fans of the slasher film genre will be thrilled and chilled with There’s Someone Inside Your House.  The storyline revolves around a click of high schoolers who, one by one, are stalked and then subsequently killed.

What works to set this film apart from other slasher flicks that came before it is that the killer of each of the student’s looks exactly like them.  This approach appears somewhat in the same wheelhouse as of such classic slasher films as Scream and more modern versions such as Freaky and Happy Death Day.

There’s Someone Inside Your House is ranked as one of the best eleven horror movies currently streaming on Netflix.  The film stars are Sydney Park (The Walking Dead), William MacDonald, Theodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, Dale Whibley, Jesse LaTourette, and Diego Josef.

Netflix released its official synopsis of the film, shown below:

“Makani Young has moved from Hawaii to quiet, small-town Nebraska to live with her grandmother and finish high school.  But as the countdown to graduation begins, her classmates are stalked by a killer intent on exposing their darkest secrets to the entire town, terrorizing victims while wearing a real-life mask of their own face.  With a mysterious past of her own, Makani and her friends must discover the killer’s identity before they become victims themselves.”

There’s Someone In your House promises to offer a thrill and chill rollercoaster ride for the viewers and could quite possibly leave them under the covers.
