An estimated eight percent of existing elephants are killed in Africa each year. With each elephant killed chances are pretty good that an orphan is left behind. It is impossible to know just how many orphans there are, as well as almost impossible to rescue them all. However, in this story, an orphaned elephant was rescued, and what follows about her and her best friend will just absolutely give you one good dose of the feels. The elephant is named Bubbles, and she was orphaned when she was very young. She lived without her family for twenty-four years. Then one day, something amazing happened that changed her life forever.
