“The Mummy” may have become mummified itself to the passing of time, buried by the more memorable films of the late 1990s and early 2000s, but it’s not a half-bad movie. It’s a wonderfully simple adventure story told with some great visual flair, a stellar cast, and some fairly fun writing.
