Attention ice cream lovers and cheesecake lovers! The day has finally come. Cheesecake and ice cream can now coexist in the same product in the freezer section of your local grocery store. The Cheesecake Factory, a restaurant known for creating all types of cheesecake, recently announced its own line of cheesecake inspired ice cream, which is available in grocery stores.
The Cheesecake Factory has a diehard customer following, and the move to ice cream will only increase its reach to new customers, and ice cream lovers alike. The new line of cheesecake ice cream comes from a partnership with Iowa-based manufacturer Wells Enterprises Inc., who is creating this line of seven different pints of ice cream.
The ice cream will officially be known as The Cheesecake Factory At Home ice cream. The flavors include original, cookies & cream, strawberry, key lime, birthday cake, salted caramel, and of course chocolate. Each flavor will be available in a fourteen-ounce pint and have a retail price of about $4.99.
Although this product isn’t expected to hit stores until early March, the demand is already high. This ice cheesecake inspired ice cream line is an addition to the brand’s ever expanding At Home line, so people can enjoy the delicious desserts of The Cheesecake Factory from their local grocery store instead of locating the nearest restaurant.
One unique feature about these cheesecake ice creams is that they are not just ice cream-based flavors with added ingredients. This cheesecake inspired ice cream line is actually made from a cheese base. Each pint contains sour cream and a “signature cream cheese blend.” From there, each flavor contains either bits of fruit or cookie or caramel and other added ingredients to get the flavor just perfect. The strawberry has real bits of strawberry and the cookies & cream has real bits of broken up cookies.
