Valentine’s Day may still be more than a month away, but the marketing is certainly out in full force! Love is in the air and apparently, it’s also in the candy. Candy giant Skittles has unveiled its newest candy flavor for the upcoming romantic holiday Valentine’s Day and it’s actually a familiar one.
Skittles is bringing back its Love Mix Skittles, which first appeared on store shelves back in 2018. The candy in colored in the traditional red, pink, and white, although the Love Mix does introduce some new flavors to the Skittles family. However, we are still getting some traditional flavors this year.
The new Love Mix Skittles for 2020 will include flavors like Watermelon, White Grape, Yumberry, Strawberry, and Cherry. According to the official product description, “This Valentine’s Day, don’t just whisper sweet nothings. Give sweet somethings. Like this Skittles Love Mix bag filled with fruity flavors everyone loves. Each of these candies is like Cupid’s arrow to the tongue of anyone they come into contact with.”

Each bag of these Love Mix Skittles will be available exclusively at Target stores and they will only be available for a limited time, so be sure to snatch some up before Valentine’s Day. Although these fruity candies first made their appearance two years ago, there is a chance they will not be brought back next year.
The Love Mix Skittles come in a large eleven-ounce bag, and is not sold individually or in other forms or sizes. The packaging is basically the same except the Love Mix bag is a very bright pink color with the Valentine’s Day Skittles floating down the rainbow to the Love Mix Skittles logo letters in white. The bag will have a retail price around five dollars and is not expected to expand to other stores although it will be available for sale online.
