With its thought-provoking and intriguing title, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has the undoubted potential to prove to be the most game-changing entry into all of the upcoming films in the MCU.
The upcoming third entry into the Ant-Man franchise and the sequel to the 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp, the storyline for the film will follow not only Scott Lang and his family, along with the Van Dyne family. Still, it will also introduce Kang the Conqueror, portrayed by Jonathan Majors in a significant role.
With the introduction of Kang the Conqueror, Quantumania undeniably has the ability to be the most significant game-changing entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, Kang is touted as the new MCU big bad, on the level of Thanos.
There is even a rumor that Ghostbusters and Lost In Translation actor, Bill Murray, has been cast and will appear in the upcoming sequel. In a recent post to the internet, actor John Townsend has been cast as the photo double for Bill Murray.

The post also stated that the information was in conjunction with the production of a project entitled Dust Bunny – which is the current title for the production of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. At this point in time, there are no details available as to who the character is that Murray will be playing.
What is vital to understand here is that these are still just rumors and should only be taken with a grain of salt. There have been no official announcements or details from the higher-ups over at Marvel Studios confirming the Murray rumors, but there also have been no denials.
Assuming that the rumors are true, trying to speculate who Murray’s character maybe might be fun. One idea which is the most intriguing is that Murray may be portraying an older version of the main character, Scott Lang.
Either way, we will have to patiently wait and see just how it all turns out. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is currently slated to premiere in theaters on February 17, 2023.
