Mario Lopez Shares Dramatic Easter Photo Of His Family

Mario Lopez can attest that the Easter Bunny isn’t everybody’s best friend.

Over the weekend, the actor and Extra TV host shared a photo of his family meeting the Easter Bunny, including his adorably dramatic son, seen crying at the sight of the bunny.

He captioned the photo, “A child psychologist may, or may not, be involved after Sonny’s first time meeting the Easter bunny.”

In the photo, a 2-year-old boy is crying on the ground as his siblings, Gia, 11, and Dominic, 8, try to comfort him.

There was no surprise when Lopez’s fans reacted in humor.

Perez Hilton wrote, “Just a little bit dramatic.”

Melissa Joan Hart, actress and a mother of three, “That’s a framer!”

One commenter wrote, “I needed this laugh.”

Lopez, who spoke to Yahoo Life about fatherhood in the past, is undoubtedly a proud father.

He tells Yahoo Life, “I’m always working, but I manage always to have breakfast with the kids and be home for dinner. I often do their practices — Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling for my sons —, and I usually attend my daughter’s gymnastics meets on the weekends.”

Lopez added that fatherhood would be much more challenging without his wife, Courtney Mazza, parents, and in-laws.

He said, “I have a very understanding and supportive wife, so it all works out. I know we’re blessed that we’ve got my parents, and my wife’s parents close because it does take a village. It’s a team effort.”

Also, he discussed the most significant surprise he encountered as a parent.

Lopez said, “You find that you’re arguing with little mini versions of yourself, which surprised me. But then all the love you put out and the joy it brings you. I’ve always loved kids, and I’ve always been a family guy, but it’s next-level when it happens to you.”
