Linda has not revealed the traumatic event for many years before she went public in September 2021.

She took her story to Instagram with the hashtag #TheTruth where she wrote about being “brutally disfigured by Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting process that did the opposite of what it promised.” Now she is disclosing the details of what happened.”

Linda told ‘People that she had undergone seven sessions of CoolSculpting between August 2015 and February 2016 and noticed during the months, the procedure to get rid of fat, was instead an enlargement and hardening of the areas and places treated

She said, “I tried to fix it myself, thinking I was doing something wrong, pointing to dieting and overexercising. I thought I was losing my mind.”

Linda took her concerns to her doctor in June 2016.

She recalled, “I dropped my robe for him. I haven’t been eating and was starving. What am I doing wrong?”

The doctor diagnosed her with Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH), a rare condition that explained the adverse effect of the CoolSculpting.

Linda was shocked, and the doctor told her that dieting and exercise would fix it.”

The PAH findings also had an impact on Linda’s posture.

Linda said, “I don’t recognize myself physically as a person anymore. I don’t look in the mirror.”
