Hello Kitty is coming to America, and putting down roots in California. After the success of Hello Kitty Cafe’s across the globe, one is finally open in Irvine, California and it’s not temporary: it’s here to stay. The Hello Kitty Cafe, fully decorated in decor and food dedicated to the cartoon cat, is located in the Irvine Spectrum Center, and opened on September 14th.
Instead of a portable setup, there is an actual cafe set up with elegant tables and chairs, a full cocktail bar with a backdrop of the outline of Hello Nitty’s face complete with pink bow, and of course a formal tea service. Visitors can also snack on brightly colored macaroons, small cakes and doughnuts to satisfy their sweet tooth.
In order to better accommodate the massive number of Hello Kitty fans in Southern California and across America, the new Hello Kitty Cafe will be open seven days a week, and seating is available on a first come first serve basis.
Adults will especially enjoy The Bow Room, the pink tinted cocktail bar, which is available by reservation only and is open every Wednesday through Sunday. Guests can expect many signature cocktails as well as ones inspired in name and color by its namesake, and even a variety of Hello Kitty wines. There is also a one of a kind te service for fifty-five dollars a person, including tasty finger sandwiches and petit fours.
The drinks and cocktails even have Hello Kitty’s face and signature bow stamped right on them, in case you forgot where you were. The Picture Perfect cocktail is even served in a white, ceramic mug shaped like Hello Kitty.
Eat your finger food and sweets on Hello Kitty shaped plates and easily mingle with other Hello Kitty lovers. The success of the Hello Kitty Cafe car and several popups have made it clear that this Hello Kitty Cafe will be here to stay!
