Heather recalled that she decided to have her fertility levels checked in her 20s. She was shocked to determine that she had a low egg count.
She said, “She went to different doctors to get confirmed.”
In 2019, she met Tarek El Moussa, her husband. It was love at first sight. He already had a daughter Taylor and a son, Brayden, from his previous marriage, Christina Haack.
Heather revealed, “We were both a hard no on babies.”
After seven months for Heather, everything changed as she opened up her IVF journey to the world.
Heather told Tarek, “I will not have children of my own. But seeing Tarek as a dad completely changed my mind about everything.”
We enjoy our day with Brayden and Taylor as they always make us smile with their funny stories, no matter how stressed or overwhelmed.
I started documenting the process of freezing my eggs and shared the journey on Instagram as it is essential to open up with my followers. We got seven eggs at my last retrieval, and now we are creating embryos., which is exciting.
We will probably do the embryo transfer this summer. We are very open with our kids about what is going on with the egg freezing.
Heather says I was apprehensive about how Taylor would react as she is 11. There are a lot of changes in her life already, and I am aware of that. They have had many changes in their life.
I had to take hormone injections to my stomach. It was painful as I was 103 pounds. Taylor would get ice to put on my tummy. I am lucky to have a supportive family.
