If you love dogs (and honestly who doesn’t?) and you live in the Lone Star state of Texas, then do we have the dream job for you. It is the brainchild of a new restaurant called MUTTS Canine Cantina—basically a combination of eatery, bar, and yes dog park. The restaurant is taking applications to fill its first-ever position, that of “puptern”.

The eatery, which currently has two locations, one in Dallas and another in Fort Worth, is offering their “puptern” position to one lucky person. And that is not all, that person will earn $100 an hour for what is undeniably a one of a kind job. Sounds like a dog lover’s dream job, right? Well, hold onto your seat because it gets better. The actual job description, as described by Kyle Noonan, the co-founder:
“We are looking forward to hiring our first ever Puptern. There aren’t many opportunities out there that pay interns to strictly play with dogs all day long. Typically, there may be other responsibilities that come with this job, but not this one.”
Yes, you read that right—Noonan is offering to pay a substantial hourly wage to one individual in return for being the BFF of the furry babies of his restaurant guests. How could this not be a dream job–it not only pays well but is also low stress.
If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, then I would highly suggest that you put your application in toot sweet. The only requirements for applying are that you are 18 years old or over, and free from any pet allergies that could post a problem in performing this job.

There is another requirement as well. The eatery is approaching their vetting process in a little different manner than most. They are asking those who want to be considered candidates to post a pic of themselves to the eateries Instagram account, that must show their desire for taking on the Puptern title.
