Nobody in the neighborhood was aware that there was an abandoned property. This was because the farmhouse was deserted for a long time. It was atop a steep slope in the heart of the forest.
It was surrounded by numerous trees and completely cut off from human interaction. The house was constructed over a century ago when the forest was still in its infancy. The thick grouping of trees with its brilliant greenery wasn’t seen from a dozen paces away at the time, and the house seemed to be isolated.
