Drew captioned, The 46-year-old who talked openly about body image and weight fluctuations explained how she uses her holiday break to put herself first and ensure her well-being.
She has committed herself to practice some healthy living, “eating like crap,” meditating, being active, but stressed to fans that her week of wellness has nothing to do with her weight.
Barrymore wrote, “The point of wellness to me is mental! I am exhausted from work. I don’t care what the number says! I have a week off, and I plan to scrape those barnacles! But I feel bloated from eating like crap, sleeping too little, and working so much.”
In the 2020 post, she wrote about her “rollercoaster of a body,” noting, “I go up and I down.”
She shared, “The rollercoaster of my body is a challenging but beautiful ride. There have been times I have stood in my closet and cried. I made two kids, which is vital for me to be on this planet is for them! It is a true miracle I was able to have these two girls. I hated getting dressed. It didn’t feel good! It takes so much for me to look decent.”

Barry continued, “If I look decent on anything I have done since I had my two kids, I have clawed my way there. You can too! However, it is hard to sustain and can take a lot of the joy out of life with food. It only took 45 years to find me. But not anymore. Now I have found that elusive B called Balance. 45! Right, where I am supposed to be. And it is not perfect. But it is me.”
