There Will Be No Days Off For You
Working on a cruise ship might not be suitable for those who value having a day off every week. It is because cruise ship employees typically do not have any days off while under contract. They work continuously for approximately nine months without a single day of rest. Once their contract expires, they get a couple of months off before returning to work on the ship. However, even though they work daily, they are not always on duty. The staff rotates shifts, allowing each worker some free time each day. Thus, while working on a cruise ship can be a unique experience, the demanding schedule and lack of days off may not be ideal for everyone.
