- 1 cup all-purpose flour, 150 grams
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 cup almond mik or milk of choice
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cane sugar
- 1 large egg or flax egg
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup butter softened
Here are the instructions that you need to follow in order to complete this recipe:
The first step is to add all of the dry ingredients together. Then you need to fully whisk together all of the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
For the next step, you need to combine all of the wet ingredients together. In a large bowl, you need to add in the melted butter, almond milk, vanilla, salt and egg. Whisk by hand until well combined.
In a lightly greased waffle iron, cook the waffles until golden brown and crispy (this will be slightly longer than the waffle iron calls for). You can also use the mini Dash waffle maker for this recipe, and use about a 1/4 cup of batter each time.
