The temperatures are warming up outside and the days are still getting longer, so there is plenty of time to be outside and enjoy some good food. One of the best options for summer nights are s’mores, the traditional graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow handmade sandwiches that are perfect for sitting around a campfire.
S’mores are made by roasting a marshmallow over a flame and then placing it atop of pick of Hershey’s chocolate and covering both ends with a crunchy graham cracker. This gooey, sticky mess is delicious and over the years people have tried to perfect this snack, like releasing square shaped marshmallows.
Now, Walmart is introducing an even easier way to build a s’more. This summer the company will sell Stuffed Puffs, which are round marshmallows with chocolate already stuffed inside of it. These Stuffed Puffs will be available in stores nationwide on April 28th and have a suggested retail price of four dollars.

These Stuffed Puffs were actually invented by a New York City chef, Michael Tierney, who got the idea from sitting around a campfire and wanted to make the s’mores building process much easier and less messy.
Tierney explained his creation in a press release by saying, “A marshmallow with a chocolate center] is a simple idea, but very hard to execute, which is why it hasn’t been done before. I spent seven years figuring out a truly innovative system that breaks the rules of traditional candy making. I’m so excited it’s finally here.”

This new innovation is also reportedly one of many, as Tierney has plans to expand the Stuffed Puffs to include other flavors and fillings, which will definitely change the s’mores game forever. The chocolate inside the marshmallow melts easily when roasted, but these marshmallows can also be enjoyed eating right out of the bag!
