In a new video, he answers some followers’ questions and offers suggestions for those seeking to begin their fitness journey in the New Year.

Magnus gets many questions from his followers, but most ask how to lose fat, but we hate running. He says, ”You do not need to do any cardio to burn fat. You can run a marathon and be overweight, and you can also have a six-pack and be in lousy shape.

He continues, When it comes to lower body fat, it is all about nutrition and adds cardio. However, he adds that cardio is still vital for keeping your heart healthy.

Also, many of them question Magnus about whether bodyweight exercises are better or worse than weight training for building strength and muscle.

Magnus says, “Bodyweight training can be good for someone who is not used to working out because the risk of getting injured is less.”

He continues, “Weights are the better option in the long run. You can build muscle mass with bodyweight and hit a plateau pretty soon, though. Lifting long weights will be better for you if you want to gain maximum amounts of muscle mass or target every muscle in your body.”

Magnus gets questions about bulking and cutting. His advice here is not to take one or the other to extremes, do not overeat to increase your calorie intake. When it comes to calorie deficiency, do not starve yourself.

He says, “I think a healthy bulk and cutting cycle can be anything from 8 to 12 weeks.”

Most of all, he wants people to remember that progress seems different to everyone, according to their objectives.

Magnus recommends starting immediately. He says, “It depends on where you start and how consistent you are.” It is not all about how you look. It is also how your feel and longevity and all that stuff.”
