Amy Schumer says her cosmetic touch-up did not work
She shared on Instagram to tell her fans that she ”tried getting fillers” as it can plump up the face and smooth out wrinkles. The procedure can make a patient look younger, but in her case, it was more.
She writes on the post, “I looked like Maleficent, referring to Sleeping Beauty villain played by Angelina Jolie in protruding prosthetic cheekbones.”
As Amy was not happy, she removed the fillers.
Amy says, “Turns out I was already full. Thank God you can dissolve them. “She shares a selfie of herself with cream on her cheekbones while in what looks like a physician’s office.
The fans responded to Amy’s confession and urged her to keep it natural.
Isha Fisher, an actress, wrote, “You are so beautiful. No fillers needed.”
Amy, who also recently published on obtaining liposuction, explained her motivation to try loads in answer to another commentator.
Amy says, “Something about this year.” She is turning 40 and undergoing surgery to remove her uterus and appendix to treat her endometriosis.

She added, “I want to feel the best about myself. It is a lifelong thing. I got lipo and had a great experience doing it. I used to be judgmental about people getting work done. Now I am like, do everything you can to love yourself exactly as you are. But once you turn 40 and have a C-section do whatever that makes you feel best!”
