Anne Robinson – $45 Million

Many Americans have probably never heard of Anne Robinson, but she is a well-known British television personality. She’s affectionately known as “The Queen of Mean” for how she ruthlessly eliminated contestants on The Weakest Link.

In 1967, she was the first female apprentice at the Daily Mail newspaper and the first female editor on London’s Fleet Street. Since then, she has managed to host television programs, with UK audiences tuning in to see what witty retort the Queen of Mean has up her sleeve. She is presently the host of the quiz program Test The Nation.
