The Perfect Cookie Mug Recipe

Cookies are probably my favorite dessert, but some days when I’m craving one, I don’t want to make an entire batch. That’s when a cookie mug is the perfect choice. There are so many recipes out there, and I feel like I’ve tried them all. This one is my favorite because it doesn’t use an egg and doesn’t require any odd substitutes like Greek yogurt. It’s just a simple, easy, delicious fix for a cookie craving. Bear in mind that this is not a “healthy” recipe, and that’s okay. When I want a cookie, I know it isn’t going to be health food. The recipe serves one person.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons milk

½ teaspoon vanilla (or almond) extract

2 tablespoons brown sugar

4 tablespoons flour

1 tablespoon chocolate chips

Directions:

Melt butter in the microwave and mix in milk.

Mix in extract and sugar until sugar has dissolved.

Add flour until you get a batter.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Return to the microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds.

The cookie will look undercooked, but let it rest for about a minute or so, and it will be ready to eat!
