#15: The Tall Great Dane
It’s hard to miss a Great Dane. Standing as high as 32 inches at the shoulder, Danes tower over most other dogs, and when standing on their hind legs, they’re taller than many people.
Their large and imposing appearance mask their friendly nature, however. The Great Dane is a very gentle and loving animal and is great around children, especially when they’re raised with them.
#14: The Tough German Shepherd
Bred to be working dogs, the German Shepard is an exceptionally loyal breed. They’re marked by a willingness to learn and an eagerness to have a purpose. Their curiosity makes them excellent guard dogs and suitable for many types of work.
German Shepards are highly intelligent and obedient, as well as being protective of their families.
