Dancing with the Stars fans were sure to have set their alarms clocks to rise and shine early Wednesday. After much anticipation, the season twenty-seven lineup of competitors was announced Wednesday on Good Morning America.
The lineup each season features all new celebrities partnered with returning pros as they compete for the much-coveted mirror ball trophy. The pairings for this season are pretty interesting, as we take a look at them now.
Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong
Considered a somewhat do it yourself musical marvel, Tinashe is hoping that add the coveted mirrorball trophy, with the aid of her partner Brandon Strong, to her list of many accomplishments.
Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess
With the shoe on the other foot this time around, American Idol mentor Bobby Bones will be learning a few things about the world of ballroom dancing via Sharna Burgess.
Grocery Store Joe and Jenna Johnson
Having gone from the grocery store to the beach and now to the dance floor, it will be fun to see how Joe adjusts to his new surroundings with the help of Jenna Johnson.
Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber
America’s sweetheart Mary Lou Retton will be able to dance herself further into our hearts, with the help of he partner Sasha Farber.
DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold

Being an Alpine skier by nature, it is surely going to be a big change for Danelle on the ballroom floor. Artem is sure to show her the ropes, as they begin their quest for the mirrorball trophy.
Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe
Feeling that no wizardry will be needed, Evanna is confident that she and her partner Keo will reign supreme this season.
Also announced ahead of the Wednesday cast was additional duos Milo Manheim and Witney Carson as well as Nancy McKeon and Vall Chmerkovskiy.
The all-new twenty-seventh season of Dancing with the Stars is scheduled to kick off on Monday, September 24th on ABC.
